He is a combat veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, having served 13 years in the U.S. Air Force as a C-130H Pilot and Navigator. During his military service, he was decorated with the Air Medal, Presidential Unit Citation with Valor, Aerial Achievement Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal. Following his military career, Mr. Ayala led multiple sales and marketing teams at a Fortune 50 Aerospace & Defense Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
